Ladies and Gentlemen: Good afternoon.

At Pudong Lujiazui, the world-wide famous golden land, my colleagues and I are very lucky and proud for participating in the construction of four buildings here including Jingmao Tower, Oceanarium, the Oriental Pear Tower and Jasper Tower, and among them I cherish the Oriental Pearl Tower and Jasper Tower most under blue sky which is beset by bright diamond because we devote our most power and wisdom to design the Oriental Pearl Tower and now we have participated in the construction of Jasper Tower.
 
Nowadays, the Oriental Pearl Tower has become the symbol of Shanghai City. Once people mention Shanghai city, the Oriental Pearl Tower will appear in their minds and the Oriental Pearl Tower is mentioned with shanghai city, too.
 
Will Jasper Tower be the symbol of elites? I hope so. I would prefigure that, in the near future, when people talk about the top World 500 in Shanghai and internationally famous financial companies they will think that they may be in Jasper Tower. Because Jasper Tower is adjacent to the Oriental Pearl and faces the well known Huangpu River and the bund, and because Jasper Tower is an art of building, and it is wonderful and magnificent from the appearance outside to the structure and facilities inside. Only the elites can match it and those who work here will be the elites.
 
The Oriental Pearl Tower has upgraded the Shanghai City.
 
And what can be foreseen is that Jasper Tower will upgrade the elites.
 
Mr. Ni Zhaoxing and ZhongRong Group has been famous in Shanghai city and China, even around the world. Four years ago, I met Mr. Ni for discussing the structure optimization of ZhongRong Hengrui International Plaza, and he trusted us; I admired his foresight and sagacity deeply and his special view to architectures. He determinedly bought 3 buildings, during the Asian Financial Crisis and regression period of real estate, including unfinished buildings and this land, and he made up his mind to find the best designers to build the best building. We engineers doing practical work should learn from the successful entrepreneurs. And only when they are connected together with successful enterprise will be success. This is what I learned from experience.
 
 
Under Mr. Ni's strict demands, the design of Jasper Tower has been deliberated, modified and overturned reworking to make it perfect. We strived for the perfection of the design of this building, for example, there are more than 10 type of designs only for the roof. After he visited this building for several hours, Mr. Ni said to me“I cannot find anything defect”. I think this is the best encouragement to us and it is more important than awards and money. Probably, everyone has noticed that such a building with 100,000 square meters, except the core tube, only has 16 tiny concrete filled steel tubulars, which have good seismic resistant behaviors and high bearing capacity, while their diameter is only 1m at the bottom. This enlarged the available area of this building under the condition of safety. The clear height of storey is 3.0m, which is higher than usual office for 30cm, and this is designed to meet the higher requirements of intelligent office building. The office rooms are bright and wide, where everything sighted are beautiful views. There are 16 high-speed elevators setting for high, middle and low area respectively. So I can foretell that working here will be highly efficient.
 
During the design, architects from GS&P, especially Mr. Kevin, cooperated with us worked very well, which is a key factor leading to the success of this project. There will be more cooperation between our company, Mr. Ni and GS&P that will create more great buildings. We're looking forward to them. Thanks.
